Dear runners, dear community,

You can now register for the 4 UTMB® for the Planet Virtual Races, giving you the chance to test yourself across four distances based on the legendary races of UTMB® Mont Blanc: the OCC, the CCC®, UTMB® and PTL®. Open from July 20th-August 30th, this digital initiative, which will unite the community, invites you to participate in a virtual UTMB® by recording your activities from wherever you are on the planet on a new digital platform. In addition to the Virtual Races, you can also enter several exclusive Challenges which have been supported by partners of UTMB® and Val d'Aran by UTMB®, with plenty of prizes up for grabs.

To encourage as many people as possible to take part and experience the joy of trail running, you will be able to complete your Virtual Race or Challenge over several runs or in one go. The classification will also take into account the kilometre-effort for people who cannot integrate elevation gain in their run. (For any gain of 100m in elevation, we add 1km to the distance of the route).

By participating in UTMB® for the Planet, you will join the UTMB® community at the heart of a unique, sporting gathering, which will allow you to share your exploits and adventures with runners from around the globe. But more than that, the integration of a real-time ranking will allow you to compete against friends and the best athletes in the discipline. Are you up for the challenge?

Entry into the UTMB® for the Planet Virtual Races is free, and you are invited to donate the amount of your choice to support WWF France if you choose. Upon completing your Virtual Race, you will unlock a Finisher Badge, and WWF donors will also receive an exclusive bib. Every runner who completes UTMB® Virtual 50, UTMB® Virtual 100 and UTMB® Virtual 170, will also be entered into a special draw to gain entry into the corresponding distance at UTMB® Mont-Blanc 2021, with three places available for each distance.
